-The rental price includes taxes, mandatory liability insurance, and all risk insurance for damage to the boat. The latter has an excess of 300 euros, which will be assumed by the client in the event of an accident with damage to the boat, loss of items such as anchor or mattresses, breakage of awnings, or stains on the upholstery. For possible damage to the boat’s propeller, an excess of 500 euros is agreed.
-Prior to delivery of the vessel, the vessel and its equipment will be inspected by the customer to his full satisfaction.
-Pets are not allowed on board.
-The deposit will be returned after checking that there is no damage to the boat.
-The insurance will not cover damages caused by bad faith, negligence, or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
-In the event that the company detects or suspects abuse of these substances, it may request the presence of law enforcement officials, who will conduct the appropriate tests. If the results are positive, the rental will be terminated, with no right to compensation or refund of any amount to the customer.
-The insurance shall not cover personal injuries caused by the practice of water skiing or other drag sports, even when the equipment for these sports is provided by the company, and the client exempts the company from any liability for damages that may be suffered by the client or the passengers of the boat due to the practice of such activities.
-The cost of fuel is borne by the customer, who must return the boat with the same amount of gasoline found at the time of delivery, or pay the fuel consumed, at the same price as at the pump in the port of Ciutadella.
-In case of weather changes that force the client to return to port earlier than planned, the client will not be entitled to claim any compensation from the company.
-The client declares to have sufficient capacity to discern the various situations of danger to himself, his companions, or third parties, which may arise from the use of a motorboat, and exempts the company from any liability for its improper use.
-The client is obliged to comply with the navigation rules and laws in force, including those related to sport fishing, to strictly respect the maximum number of seats on the boat, as well as to ensure that a person with a valid nautical license is on board.
-The company will not be responsible for the objects transported on board nor for any damage they may suffer.
FOR EXCURSIONS WITH SKIPPER:
- The client must be at the place of the activity at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity . The ship will depart at the scheduled time and failure to show up will result in forfeiture of prepayments.
- The decision on the route and stops is up to the skipper of the boat, who will decide taking into account the weather conditions and the preferences of the clients.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In case of cancellation by the client more than one month before the date of the reserved activity, 5% of the price of the activity will be charged as an administration fee.
For cancellations between 30 and 7 days prior to the activity date, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged.
For cancellations between 7 and 3 days prior to the date of the activity, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
For cancellations less than 48 hours before the date of the activity, the client must pay the full amount of the activity booked.
PROCESSING OF CUSTOMER DATA
On behalf of the company we process the information you provide in order to provide the requested service, perform the billing of the same. The data provided will be kept for as long as the business relationship is maintained or for the years necessary to comply with legal obligations. The data will not be transferred to third parties except in cases where there is a legal obligation. You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether Port Ciutadella Charter S.L. is processing your personal data and therefore you have the right to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary.
