Already approved the new regulations on sailing qualifications, and entered into force on 10 October 2014. The main novelty is that it creates a new degree, the “License Navigation” which can handle vessels up to 6 meters in length with the power recommended by the manufacturer (ie, unlimited power), but only during daylight hours and no more than two miles away from a port or beach wrap.
This license may be issued by the Sailing Federations (as usual with the “Titulín”) and duly accredited sailing schools, following four hours of theory and two practical without conducting any examination or test.
